Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026 · Operated by Hyperion Constellation Systems (HCS).
This Privacy Policy explains how Resume Rater AI (“RRAI,” “we,” “us”), operated by Hyperion Constellation Systems (HCS), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and service. RRAI is in beta. By creating an account and submitting a resume, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the email address you use to sign in with a magic link.
- Resume content you upload — which may include your name, contact details, work history, education, and other information you choose to include.
- Job-targeting information — job postings or links you provide so we can tailor your score and optimization.
- Usage and device data — basic analytics such as pages viewed and actions taken, used to operate and improve the service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service — score, analyze, and optimize your resume and generate related guidance.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve RRAI.
- To communicate with you about your account and requests.
- To produce de-identified, aggregated statistics (for example, counts of roles, industries, experience levels, salary bands, and general locations such as state or metro area) that we use for research, to improve RRAI, and to understand labor-market trends. These aggregates do not identify you: they contain no name, email, resume text, or street-level location, and are reported only as grouped totals.
- We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use your resume content to train third-party AI models.
3. Service providers (sub-processors)
We use trusted third-party providers to run RRAI. They process data only to provide services to us:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and encrypted file storage.
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing (if and when paid features are enabled).
- AI model providers — used to generate resume scores and optimizations. Content sent for processing is not used to train their models on our behalf.
4. Data retention & deletion
We retain your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your resumes and ratings from your account at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email inquiries@promx.ai and we will process the request as described in the California Privacy Rights section below.
5. Security
Resumes are stored privately in your account, protected by row-level security, and encrypted at rest. Access is restricted, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and RRAI is a beta service.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. See the California Privacy Rights section below, or contact us to exercise any right.
7. Contact
For privacy questions or data-deletion requests, contact Hyperion Constellation Systems (HCS) at inquiries@promx.ai.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — resume data may include sensitive personal information; we use it only to provide the service you request and for compatible, disclosed purposes.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To submit a request, email inquiries@promx.ai with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We will acknowledge and respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days, with an extension of up to an additional 45 days where permitted). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
